Planning change labelled 'catastrophic'

Ministers have been told proposals aimed at speeding up planning approval for infrastructure projects would be ‘catastrophic’ by the County Councils Network (CCN).

Ministers have been told proposals aimed at speeding up planning approval for infrastructure projects would be ‘catastrophic' by the County Councils Network (CCN).

A Government amendment to its Planning and Infrastructure Bill would remove a requirement to consult on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.
