Councils in London need to focus their efforts on families living in social housing in order to tackle child poverty, according to a new report. The report by the London Child Poverty Commission said there needs to be better joint working between the boroughs and regional government. London Councils' executive member for children and young people, Cllr James Kempton, said the boroughs ‘would be sharing expertise with other councils and agencies'.
