WORKFORCE

Programme Director of Integration

Job Ref: 482-PD8D2905

Salary: £85,000 - £100,000 pa Hours: f/t 37.5 pw

An opportunity to transform care for half a million people

The leaders of the health and social care services in Buckinghamshire have a strong vision to create a new, integrated model of community-based care across the county. This involves two health and the social care commissioner organisations, the acute hospital trust, which includes community health services, and the mental health service provider acting together as Healthy Bucks Leaders.

We are now looking for a Director of Integration to translate this vision into reality, deliver a portfolio of near and mid-term projects, and plan the next stage of development. Although the role will be hosted by one of the member organisations, the Director will be accountable to the Healthy Bucks Leaders and will work across the entire health and social care system. The Director will draw on resources in all the member organisations to improve the quality, efficiency and experience of health and social care in Buckinghamshire.

This role will further develop an overarching Transformation Plan which will be managed through the Programme Management Office (PMO) and steered by the Healthy Buckinghamshire Leadership Group.

The Director will need strong programme and risk management skills but, more than this, the ability to influence senior stakeholders, resolve cross-system differences of view and build and lead the virtual PMO team. Diplomacy, facilitation and communication will be paramount.

Previous evidence of strategic and financial planning, management of senior stakeholders and solid operational delivery are prerequisite as the role will require reporting to formal Board/Governing Body meetings.

To explore the opportunity further, please complete the online application form or, for an informal discussion please contact Annet Gamell, Chief Clinical Officer for Chiltern CCG, on 01494 586586 or Lou Patten, Chief Officer for Aylesbury Vale CCG on 01296 585911.
