Reform councils attack Home Office over asylum housing

Reform UK council leaders have reportedly written to the Home Office attacking the Government’s asylum seeker housing policy.

Reform UK council leaders have reportedly written to the Home Office attacking the Government's asylum seeker housing policy.

The letter written by Kent CC leader Linden Kemkaran and signed by the party's leaders at other local authorities, including Mark Arnull at West Northants Council and Martin Griffiths at North Northants, is understood to demand ‘genuine consultation' on any future plans to house asylum seekers in their areas.
