A county council run by a Reform UK minority administration has proposed that a new single unitary moves staff currently working a 35-hour week onto a ‘standard' 37-hour week.

A council run by a Reform UK minority administration has proposed that a new single unitary moves staff currently working a 35-hour week onto a ‘standard' 37-hour week.

In March last year, under a Conservative administration, Worcestershire CC said it was looking at reducing the hours of 145 members of staff from 37 hours a week to 35 as part of the effort to balance its books.
