High quality social care is not an option, it is a must, said the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), in its annual report for 2009/10.
SSSC chief executive, Anna Fowlie, said: ‘It is more important than ever that investment in and development of the social service workforce remains a priority to make sure we have the skilled and confident workers needed to provide care services for the future.'
