Legislation to bring in a raft of changes to the planning system has officially received Royal Assent.
Details of some elements of the Planning and Infrastructure Bill remain to be fleshed out, including a National Scheme of Delegation to standardise which applications are decided by officers and councillors, set for consultation in the new year.
