Andy Burnham has been urged to reform council tax by a select committee chair.
Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee chair Florence Eshalomi said she had spoken to Burnham, who is expected to be confirmed as Prime Minister on Monday, and told him overhauling the regressive tax should be a priority.
