As an organisation, LGSS has been built by the public sector to serve the public sector. LGSS is a shared services venture between Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire County Councils providing a vast range of strategic, advisory and transactional business support services to the founding authorities as well as other public sector organisations. A public sector background is not vital, but a public sector understanding is – just as it's vital that you're as expert in managing resources and budgets as you are in building relationships.
