Assistant Director Planning and Development

Salary is £67K - £80K

Leading the strategic development, management and delivery of the Planning and Building Control functions, you will ensure the provision of an effective joined-up service offer to all developers and investors. You will also facilitate the delivery of investment opportunities and lead a programme of ongoing cultural change.

With an RTPI-recognised degree level qualification in Town Planning or equivalent, you will have a significant record of achievement in a senior Development Management role and/or planning policy role. Your experience of leading in a high profile and complex planning environment will be supported by your expertise in partnership building and liaising with a wide range of stakeholders.



Assistant Director Neighbourhoods and Growth

Salary is £67K - £80K

You will lead the strategic development of regeneration and enterprise programmes, as well as implementing effective commissioning, clienting and property development initiatives. In addition, you will lead on partnership working with key stakeholders across the borough in the major Opportunity Areas of Vauxhall and Waterloo, whilst maximising inward investment.

With a relevant professional qualification and a background in planning, regeneration or property, you will have senior level experience in managing and organising large scale, transformational development programmes. Your sound understanding of management will be matched by strong negotiating skills and the credibility to work with large developers.



Head of Office Accommodation and Strategy

Salary is £67K - £80K

3 year fixed term contract with opportunity to extend Leading the Council's office accommodation strategy, you will ensure the successful delivery of a complex, multi-dimensional and high profile capital programme to establish a new campus for the Council and its partners at the heart of the borough. Critical activities will include building effective partnerships with key stakeholders, managing staff and consultants and a realising the vision through its implementation.

Professionally qualified with a background in planning, development or regeneration, you will have a track record of working on major strategic projects and experience of competitive dialogue. Your expertise in leading complex change programmes will be matched by strong management, negotiating and partnership working skills.
