Strategic Director of Children's Services - City of Bradford MDC

Strategic Director of Children's Services - City of Bradford MDC

This exciting opportunity is seen as being key to the overall delivery of our ambition for the Bradford District.

We are looking to recruit a new Director of Children's Services to build on improvements that have been made to services across the district.

We seek a leader with vision, tenacity and ambition for our children who is also a team player contributing to the development of policy and provision across the full range of services to the District. This role calls for high level skills of communication, system leadership and people management, but more important than anything is a determination to ensure that each child receives the best possible services according to their needs.

As the fastest growing Metropolitan District in the country, there has never been a more exciting place to deliver services for children and young people. If you have the vision and ambition to join our senior management team and the strategic leadership skills to help ensure that our sevices to children realise our ambitions for our children and young people, we would very much like to hear from you.

For an informal discussion contact Jon Houlihan on 0121 644 5710 or Luke Judd on 0113 205 6086 of GatenbySanderson or visit www.leadersinbradford.com.

Closing date: 24th November 2013.
