Strategic Director roles - Brent Council

Strategic Director roles - Brent Council

Strategic Director, Children & Young People

Strategic Director, Adult Social Care

Brent is a tremendously vibrant London borough where the iconic arch of Wembley Stadium dominates the skyline. Spanning both inner and outer London, it's a borough of stark contrasts in terms of its economic, environmental, ethnic and social make up. Brent's diversity is evident to all who visit our borough and our long history of ethnic and cultural diversity has created a place that is truly unique and valued by those who live and work here.

The council is pursuing a farreaching transformation agenda that better meets the needs of our community and does more to support independence and resilience. It is also an integral part of our response to the increasing financial pressures on local government.

We have created a leaner, more strategically focused senior management team who will help us accelerate progress. Based at our brand new civic offi ces opposite Wembley Stadium these two senior management roles will complete our new top team. They are central to determining how the council embeds cooperation, collaboration and partnership as a way of thinking and acting.

We are developing earlier intervention and a more personalised approach to meeting needs, pursuing integration with health and developing new ways of working with schools.
