WORKFORCE

Strategic Partnership Contract Manager

Up to £66k per year

Cornwall Council is working in partnership with the Peninsula Community Health in a new, high profile, and innovative joint venture with British Telecom (BT). It's a huge responsibility. You'll start by putting in place performance systems and processes to ensure the delivery of the contract against the specifications. At the same time, you'll recruit, lead, and develop the Contract Management team, monitoring and reporting on commercial and performance measures.

This client-side role will gradually shift towards developing the scope of the contract for current and future partners, implementing contract changes to meet emerging needs and managing the elements of the contract that relate to any traded activity. Relationship management, governance arrangements, media relations, and budget control will also fall within your remit.

You'll come to us with a proven track record at a senior level of working within, or delivering a contract for, a public sector organisation. Skilled in negotiating complex contracts, you will have the credibility, confidence and communication skills to develop effective relationships with senior stakeholders. Your sound understanding of the public sector service delivery landscape will be matched by the vision and drive to deliver real change and innovation.

The initial scope of the contract is focused on IT, document management, HR and Finance transactional services, and Telecare/Telehealth; experience in these areas will be an advantage.
