John Hill, who lays claim to being the longest-serving district council chief executive in the UK, has announced he is to retire.

John Hill, who lays claim to being the longest-serving district council chief executive in the UK, has announced he is to retire.

He will stand down at the end of this month following 25 years as chief executive of East Cambridgeshire DC.
