A leading adoption body has unveiled plans for the UK's first voluntary sector social impact bond.

A leading adoption body has unveiled plans for the UK's first voluntary sector social impact bond to support the adoption of vulnerable children, and has appealed for council funding.

Coinciding with National Adoption Week, the Consortium of Voluntary Adoption Agencies (CVAA) has proposed that private and institutional investors, as well as local authorities and corporate businesses, could fund the family-finding service.
