We are looking to recruit a team to shape the city's future, working across council services at senior level and leading the delivery of the Strategic Infrastructure Plan.

Programme Manager

Salary - £62,049 (fixed term 2 years)

Reporting directly to the City Council Chief Executive and working closely with the elected members you will have the drive, diplomacy, resilience and creativity to manage the successful delivery of the SIP in all its multi-faceted complexity. In order to orchestrate the work of the managers and programme leads across the SIP's portfolio of projects you will be an adept communicator, committed to ongoing engagement with all stakeholders.

City Development Programme Manager

Salary - £62,049 (fixed term 2 years)

You will lead a Team and manage the City Development programme to deliver a series of projects over the next few years including offices, roads, Business Park and Housing Development infrastructure, a new Exhibition and Conference Centre as well as delivering a masterplan for City Centre regeneration. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, experienced and successful Programme Manager to ensure the successful delivery of these projects

Housing & Environment Directorate These roles form a new specialist development team to deliver the Council's commitment to provide 2000 new affordable houses by 2017.

All fixed term for a period of 3 years.

Housing Programme Manager

Salary £62,049

You will take the lead role in procuring and forming commercial Joint Venture arrangements with various partners. As well as having a housing development, surveying, management or relevant degree level qualification or membership of a relevant professional body, you will have a track record of delivering at senior management level. Your experience will cover residential and commercial development, negotiation and delivery of projects through joint venture partnership, project management in the construction and building industry and management of large multifaceted teams.

Senior Land & Development Manager

Salary £50,871-£55,604

You will have substantial relevant experience at senior management level and within a commercial joint venture. Your focus will be on the acquisition of land and property assets, preparing and managing asset valuations of Council land, reviewing the Council's operational property portfolio You will represent the Council on joint venture boards and relevant stakeholder committees in order to progress the Council's strategic housing and associated infrastructure projects.

Consents Negotiator Salary £38,924-£44,521

You will lead on all planning matters for the Joint Venture Development process to ensure it meets the statutory consents required in order to progress the Council's strategic housing and associated infrastructure projects.

As well as a relevant degree level planning qualification or membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute, you will have significant relevant experience of working within a planning authority, working on residential and commercial planning of development and negotiation and delivery of projects with developers.

Admin Assistant Salary - £15,450-£16,392

You will be required to provide the necessary administrative support to the Team. Experience of Microsoft or related office packages, administration and IT skills is required as well as working on your own initiative in an office setting.
