You are an experienced Waste Manager in a customer-focussed environment. Good interpersonal skills and a focus on customer care are essential in this post as you will be responsible for delivering the full range of waste management functions throughout Aberdeenshire including waste policy development. The successful post holder will have experience of presenting a wide range of reports and will be educated to degree level or to travel is essential.

Reporting to the Head of Service within Protective Services and Waste Management you will lead a team of staff focussed on continuous improvement and providing a quality service. The postholder will oversee the introduction of a new approach to delivering recycling services designed to maximise diversion of waste from landfill.
