A regional approach to local government must not weaken councils, the Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) has warned.
It follows an announcement by Welsh First Minister Rhun ap Iorwerth of a shake-up of local government, including plans to ‘scale our communities up to the regional level where it makes sense'.
