Salary Grade 14- £46,407- £51,040 Permanent, 37 hours per week

Denbighshire has one of the highest performing Revenues and Benefits Departments in the UK. We have the highest council tax collection rate in Wales and one of the fastest and most accurate benefits teams in the UK. We want to keep it that way.

Faced with a tightening financial situation and significant changes to the welfare system we need someone who can deal with these challenges while continuing to improve performance and customer service.

Managing a team of 92 staff the post holder is responsible for managing the Council's Revenues, Benefits and Fraud teams. This includes managing the recovery of around £90m of income due to the Council and the payment of around £41m of benefits to residents.
