Increase workers' pay to improve care

Increasing pay for adult social care workers can support local economies, boost recruitment and retention, and improve care, according to The Living Wage Foundation.

Its new report published today found 73% of care workers in England are paid less than the Living Wage of £9.50 per hour, and earn £8.50 per hour on average.
