Radical steps needed to tackle unemployment

Radical steps will be needed to reduce the depth of the labour market crisis, a think tank has said as the latest jobs figures were revealed by the Office of National Statistics (ONS).

The Resolution Foundation has called for broad-based fiscal stimulus measures, jobs guarantees for the young and back to work support for the unemployed as the coronavirus crisis turns into an economic crisis.
