Two-tier devolution crisis

The ‘institutional arrogance’ of central government is in danger of ‘killing’ the East Anglia devolution deal, according to the leader of one of the counties involved.

Norfolk CC leader George Nobbs’ intervention will further destabilise the so-called Eastern Powerhouse, one of the Government’s flagship county deals which was only unveiled in the Budget last month.
