Assistant Director – Adult Social Care Transformation and Integration

Circa £86k per annum, Northallerton

North Yorkshire County Council is pursuing ambitious plans for transformation.

We face challenges balancing the need to make large-scale efficiencies with our plans for modernisation and growing demand for our services.

We are looking for a professional, delivery oriented leader to join our Health and Adult Services leadership team to drive service transformation and the implementation of a new operating model. Integration with health care is a key part of our model in a particularly complex health and care economy.

The right person will have excellent partnership working skills, combined with the ability to think strategically and see transformational change right though to implementation. You will probably already be working at a senior level, ideally within a large complex organisation and have a detailed understanding of health and adult social care.

We are looking for someone with a clear vision for the future, a passion and energy for significant challenges, and a strong track record of delivering sustainable change.

Closing date: 22 September Interview dates: 14 and 15 October
