The Local Government Association (LGA) conference is the most important event of the local government calendar and this year, once more, Local Partnerships will be right at the heart of it.

We know the scale of the challenges councils are facing. Whether it's navigating the complexities of local government reorganisation, tackling climate imperatives or striving for better housing and waste solutions, local authorities are under more pressure than ever to deliver more with less.

Local Partnerships doesn't just work with the public sector, we are part of it. Our team brings together expertise from local and central government, and private sector practice, to help you deliver outcomes with impact. We are an in-house delivery partner jointly owned by the LGA, HM Treasury and the Welsh Government, and work solely for the benefit of the public sector.

You'll find our expert team at Stand C28 throughout the conference and across the programme: on stage, in side rooms and leading fringe sessions to contribute our expertise and support.

From transforming waste infrastructure for a circular future, to reimagining housing delivery in creative and collaborative ways, our sessions bring together real-world insights and local leadership. We're also showcasing innovative cross-sector programmes like Prisoners Building Homes, which exemplifies the joined-up and values-led work we support every day.

Here's a preview of where you can find us in the programme and elsewhere:

• Waste not, want not. Transforming waste infrastructure (Tues 1 July)

• Turning ESG into ROI. Cutting costs and carbon via procurement (1 July)

• Housing reimagined marketplace session (Weds 2 July)

• Prisoners Building Homes. Reducing reoffending and tackling the housing crisis (2 July)

• New low carbon energy infrastructure. Session with DESNZ on stand C28 (2 July)

• New Belt. Brownfield regeneration as a spur to affordable housing (Thurs 3 July)

If you're attending the LGA conference, please connect with us in the exhibition hall, in the sessions, over a coffee or on our social media. You can also reach out to me at Adele.Gritten@localpartnerships.gov.uk.

We look forward to seeing you there to explore how we can help you make change happen.
