Community Services Director

Central Bedfordshire Council is a great place to live and work. The council came into existence in April 2009 and we are now entering a new phase, building on solid foundations to deliver on the potential of Central Bedfordshire, the place, and improving the experience of our customers.

You will be a leader and coach to the managers who report to you, and contribute to the corporate strategy of the council through your place on the management team.

With significant experience in a leadership position, you will demonstrate a track record in delivering timely improvements to service quality, performance outcomes and cost effectiveness. A strong communicator with the ability to influence, build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders you will have sound knowledge of customer facing services and a demonstrable track record of managing and driving value from commercial contracts.
