Description

West Midlands Pension Fund. Full-time: 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Since being appointed to the role of Chief Pensions Service Manager there has been a clear mandate to make rapid and lasting change for the benefit of all our Pensioners, Scheme Members, Employers and Trustees. The Fund has already made significant impacts into changing the services delivered to customers but like all parts of the public sector, we continue to face new challenges.

We have recently reshaped our Senior Management Team and are seeking a Deputy Pensions Service Manager with the right flair and commitment to lead the Benefits Administration function through challenging Local Government Pension Scheme changes.

You will be passionate about public services, can make real sustainable change at pace and will be used to leading change in a large organisation. You will have a proven track record of hands-on leadership, success in applying the principles of change, excellent management capabilities and be familiar with LEAN systems thinking to deliver measureable impact on process, quality and cost.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the ability to build influential relationships as well as analyse and share complex pension information. So, if you have the passion and determination to lead a large Benefits Administration Team at a senior level, we hope to hear from you.
