Director of Education Services at the CfBT Education Trust

CfBT believes in the transformative power of education. Our teams work across the country, and overseas, to deliver quality services that improve the lives of children and young people. We're looking for a new Director to be central to CfBT's success at an exciting time for the organisation, with Steve Munby recently joining us as Chief Executive.

You will have a national remit to lead the development and extension of our education services, but with a particular focus on Lincolnshire, where we have worked in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council since 2002, delivering school improvement services and managing a range of additional council activities.

You will play a crucial role as part of our Executive Management Team, shaping plans for the next phase of CfBT's development and working closely with our teams nationally, including colleagues in our rapidly growing Schools Trust.

As expected for such a multifaceted role, we'll look for candidates who bring knowledge and experience from a strategic leadership role in the sector. Innovation and commercial acumen are also important, alongside the political awareness to engage successfully with a variety of partners and stakeholders. Above all, you'll have the passion, energy and commitment to lead services that make a positive impact on the lives of learners everywhere.

In return, you'll join an organisation at the leading edge of the sector, committed to your ongoing development and with the national and international infrastructure to support you every step of the way. To find out more, visit this link.

For an informal (and confidential) conversation, please contact James Sturdy or Veena Murray on 0844 800 5300.

Closing date for applications: Monday 28 January 2013.
