All the latest personnel moves in local government. Directors A director at Enfield LBC is leaving the local government sector. Executive director of resources, James Rolfe, is leaving the authority to become chief operating officer at Anglia Ruskin University. His role at the council, which he held for 10 years, will come to an end on 8 October. Mr Rolfe was previously assistant director of adult social services at Norfolk CC for four years, until joining Enfield in 2007. Mark Kemp has joined Hertfordshire CC as director of environment and infrastructure. Mark was formerly director of growth, strategy and highways services at Buckinghamshire CC and represented the authority on the Local Enterprise Partnership. He has 30 years of experience of a range of roles in local government, covering environment, transport and property, including working for Hertfordshire 15 years ago. Public bodies Public Sector Audit Appointments (PSAA) has announced the appointment of Tony Crawley as the company's new chief executive. Currently a director of KPMG specialising in local public audit, Mr Crawley will join PSAA in mid-October. PSAA chairman Steve Freer said: ‘We are delighted to have attracted a chief executive of Tony Crawley's calibre and look forward to the next stages of the company's development under his leadership. His wealth of knowledge and front-line experience of auditing local public bodies will be invaluable in his new role. " Mr Crawley was previously a district auditor for District Audit, the delivery arm of the former Audit Commission, and currently serves as vice president of CIPFA in the Midlands. The Department of Health and Social Care has appointed Professor Dame Julia Goodfellow as chair of the advisory board for Public Health England. Dame Julia was previously vice-chancellor of the University of Kent and has previously been chair of the British Science Association. She is currently president of the Royal Society of Biology. Health Secretary Matt Hancock said: ‘I am delighted that Dame Julia has accepted this important role. She brings a wealth of relevant experience to support PHE's vital work in protecting and improving the nation's health. ‘I am very grateful to Sir Derek Myers for his excellent work as acting chair of PHE's advisory board since spring 2017 and pleased that he will continue in a non-executive role with the organisation.'
