Redundancy payouts totalling £1m made to senior officers at Glasgow have been described as ‘deeply concerning' by a financial watchdog.

The Accounts Commission has looked into the processes, decisions and actions taken that resulted in more than £1m in early retirement and redundancy payouts to five officers between 2021 and 2024, including former chief executive Annemarie O'Donnell.
