Proposals to make golden handcuffs payments to staff have caused a rift among the Reform UK administration at Worcestershire CC.
A final decision on whether to press ahead with plans to offer retention payments to keep hold of officers in the run-up to reorganisation was deferred following a confidential meeting of the council's appointments panel earlier this month.
