Strategic HR Manager

EMPLOYER: Shepway District Council; SALARY: Up to £55,000; CLOSING DATE: 07 November 2011

EMPLOYER Shepway District Council

SALARY Up to £55,000

CLOSING DATE 07 November 2011

DESCRIPTION

Our revenues team won the Team of the Year at the IRRV awards this year and our benefits team were finalists in the most improved team. Our Customer Excellence Award recognises our commitment to our customers, and an excellent annual report from our auditors shows that we're pretty good at managing our money.

Now we need someone to head our HR team and put it on course to become another award winner. You'll be starting from scratch and you'll have the enthusiasm, drive and ambition to create an HR team capable of being one of the best in the country.

The role is going to be challenging but that is what makes it exciting. We are looking for a solid, trusted advisor to make sure we get people management right first time, every time and the processes, systems and leadership for that need to be put in place first! The right candidate will also take ownership of resolving issues and advising the Council appropriately.

We want to build the service so that it wins awards for supporting the Council in achieving its business objectives and equips staff to lead, manage and embrace new ways of working.

For further information, please visit the Attenti website.

For an informal and confidential discussion, please contact our advising consultants at Attenti, Melissa Baxter on 020 7422 0625, or Nev Wilkinson on 020 7422 0621.

Closing date; Monday, 7th November 2011.
