The Local Government Association (LGA) Conference sees the anticipated launch of a major publication detailing the sucessful work IMPOWER has undertaken this year
At IMPOWER, we are motivated by the inherent belief that the work we do with our clients ultimately achieves two things; we enable authorities to achieve better outcomes for their citizens whilst achieving their medium-term financial strategy.
It is also important that we back up our commitments by delivering sustainable impact that remains on a strong trajectory after the life of an IMPOWER project or commission. It is simply not enough to deliver a comprehensive evaluation and analysis and leave clients with a list of recommendations. We support our clients to tackle complex challenges and influence strengths-based practice at the front line, driving long-term change through a number of tools, including technology (and AI where appropriate), applied analytics and co-production.
When I joined IMPOWER nearly a year ago, I was taken aback by the level of expertise and passion amongst our teams, and the impact they had achieved in partnership with our clients. And I’m delighted to be able to aggregate that impact into a publication which we will launch at the LGA Annual Conference.
Our first annual impact report highlights the results we have achieved across our different projects and markets since January 2022. Case studies tell the story of our transformation approach and the outcomes achieved for citizens. Individual spotlight pieces bring to life the difference we have made for an individual, and indeed their families. Across more than 50 assignments, we’ve identified and delivered millions of pounds of savings, helped people get home quicker from hospital and stay at home safely for longer, helped vulnerable children get the right care, and helped children with additional needs, who can do so, to stay in mainstream education where their life chances are hugely enhanced.
