The wellbeing of individuals and their wider community is key

With public health leading the national news headlines due to COVID-19, it seems appropriate to dedicate this column to the ongoing role of councils in supporting community health and wellbeing.

While physical buildings and landscapes are, of course, crucial in shaping a place-based agenda, it is important to remember that ‘place’ also comprises people: the health and wellbeing of individual residents and their wider community.
