It's been a busy start to the autumn in our corner of East Anglia and, just as the ink was drying on our joint submission of proposals for Local Government Reform in Norfolk, we received welcome news of a funding boost.
Working over the past few months with colleagues and leaders from five other district councils, we submitted plans for a carefully-costed and sustainable reorganisation for three unitary authorities in Norfolk. We now await news on how the Government will proceed with consulting on these proposals and others that have been presented as a way forward.
