Many of us are inevitably engrossed in local government reorganisation (LGR) and all the complex and collaborative work required to make sure things transition smoothly to unitary authorities for residents in the areas impacted.

But, having attended a number of local government events recently – including The MJ Future Forum – it is clear that colleagues across the country are trying to work out how to deliver for residents and drive transformation while not compromising governance and being safe and legal on vesting day.
