It's all about Life Style.

Tendring is a high profile, innovative Council which is prepared to make a difference. Working on national pilots, such as Community Budgets and Families with Complex Needs, we are already showing that we mean business. Excellent relationships with outside organisations and growing partnerships with businesses throughout the world have enabled us to create an environment of growth and development.

Meeting the diverse needs of the people of Tendring, and providing a safe and attractive place to live, is key to our vision for the future – instilling pride in the community, the opportunity to prosper and provide a better visitor experience.

With the seaside towns of Clacton-on-Sea, Frinton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze, Tendring District Council takes its responsibility for Coastal Protection very seriously, which is why we are looking for a first class manager with comprehensive understanding of the problems facing Britain's coastal areas, to provide practical advice to the Council.

You will be used to working in a fast paced environment, and your innovative, creative approach will enable you to achieve results. Your detailed technical understanding of coastal engineering, and experience of working with the Environment Agency and outside agencies will enable you to create a defence strategy that will protect our coastline for the foreseeable future.
