Moving closer to provision everywhere that genuinely prevents child poverty

Jon Rowney says that while the difference the Budget will make in terms of scrapping the two-child limit from April is to be celebrated, there can be no room for complacency on dealing with levels of child poverty.

While many colleagues' minds will be on the local government funding settlement, it is worth reflecting on the significance of last month's Budget.

The decision to scrap the two-child limit from April is likely to be the most memorable feature.
