Accuracy of DTOC figures questioned

Senior adult social care leaders have raised concerns with government over the accuracy of the data underpinning NHS England’s delayed transfer of care figures (DTOC), The MJ understands.

A letter from president of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services, Margaret Willcox, and Local Government Association chief executive, Mark Lloyd, asked the sector for ‘specific concerns about the accuracy or use of data in relation to DTOC as evidence to support us in campaigning for NHS England and NHS Improvement to ensure that data is correct and used appropriately’.
