Behan to step down from CQC

Directors of adult social services have thanked Sir David Behan for his service after he announced he was stepping down from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Sir David, a former president of the Association of Directors of Adult Services (ADASS), said he would leave the role of chief executive in the summer after six years at the commission.
