Bonds agency lost more than £1m

The UK Municipal Bonds Agency (UKMBA) lost more than £1m in the two years up to the end of November 2019, the company’s accounts have revealed.

In August, the UKMBA secured a loan facility of up to £450,000 from the Local Government Association (LGA), which also provided accommodation and services worth £98,200 in the year ending November 2019.
