Call for a radical rethink on the generational divide

Radical changes to housing, council and inheritance tax and pensions are needed to end the unfair ‘generational’ divide, according to a major think-tank. 

The Resolution Foundation’s intergenerational commission says rising social care costs could become a burden for younger generations even though they have been hit by housing shortages and stagnant salaries.
