Cook boils over about 'crippling' uncertainty

Stockton-on-Tees BC’s leader, Cllr Bob Cook, has damned the ‘crippling’ uncertainty surrounding how local government will be funded in future.

Speaking as the council prepares to agree its medium-term financial plan to 2023, Cllr Cook said it was ‘no surprise’ that local authorities were reaching a financial cliff edge.
