A group of local authorities has together launched a commission to inquire into their new form of property-based public-private partnerships which they believe could generate millions of pounds for frontline services.
The 21 partnerships involved in over 100 projects have together formed a Council Consortium Group and last week at the House of Lords launched a commission of inquiry into their model, which will report on its findings in a year.
