Councils have 'grasped the issues' arising from Awaab Ishak death

English local authorities that have retained ownership and management of their council homes have ‘grasped the issues’ highlighted by the tragic death of Awaab Ishak, a housing boss has insisted.

Toddler Awaab died in December 2020 from a severe respiratory condition due to prolonged exposure to mould in his one-bedroom housing association flat in Rochdale.
