Counties back down over LGA quit threat

County-led threats to quit the Local Government Association (LGA) have failed to materialise.

No members left the LGA at the end of March despite threats from the likes of Surrey and Leicestershire CCs that they could quit unless the concerns of top-tier authorities were made more prominent within the association’s lobbying work.
