DCLG staff morale on the rise

The latest staff survey at the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) shows morale has risen markedly, although scarcely one in five employees believes the department manages change well.

The 'engagement index' has jumped to 64%, a five-point rise from the previous year which puts the DCLG slightly ahead of the average for Whitehall as a whole.
