Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) permanent secretary, Melanie Dawes, has been drafted in to help at the Department for Exiting the EU (DExEU).
Ms Dawes is helping at DExEU as permanent secretary Clare Moriarty has been off for two weeks following surgery for breast cancer.
