Directors give verdict on how to solve London housing crisis

Housing directors laid out how the capital’s housing crisis can be tackled at the London Councils Summit.

Speaking at the event, Hakeem Osinaike, operational director of housing with Brent LBC, said the government had ‘woken up’ to some reforms, such as the lifting of the Housing Revenue Account borrowing cap, but could go further.
