EXCLUSIVE: Brexit impact unit moves into its response phase

The Government unit charged with collecting information about how councils are dealing with the impact of Brexit has moved from the preparedness to response phase.

Local resilience forums will have to rate the impact on transport, energy, vehicle fuel, food, water, the environment, health, social care, law and order, community tensions, financial services and business in detailed returns to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government’s (MHCLG) resilience and emergencies division.
