Well, the LGA conference came and went– and it was good to catch up with district colleagues over the three days - but things have moved on quickly in the last few days.
The Cabinet reshuffle has been completed and it would be nice to think that the approach to planning might change with the moving of Nick Boles.
However, with the two main players still on the pitch until the penalty shoot out next May, the game plan is unlikely to change.
